Artpic respects your privacy and is fully committed to protecting your personal information and using it in compliance with data privacy laws. This Data Policy applies to our websites including www.artpic.org, and our Artpic mobile applications (collectively, "Artpic").

We may also get requests for account information from law enforcement authorities like the police or courts in which case we will have to respond.

Sharing information with other users

The purpose of Artpic is to share art. When using Artpic, you create content in the form of posts, likes, and comments. Most of the information you create is shared and visible to other users.

This is the information that can and is supposed to be seen by other users. This includes your account, username, bio, your posts, likes, and comments you give to other posts.

Private information is not shared and is only seen by users you choose. This includes messages.

To run Artpic, we use third-party service providers that provide specific solutions for our infrastructure. Those service providers include website editor and hosting services, cloud and database services, development platforms, and web analytics services. Google AdMob: When using Artpic, you may be shown third-party ads. For showing ads, we use the Google AdMob program. The type of information collected through Google AdMob includes:

Sharing information with Law enforcement; legal requests and security

We may also share information with law enforcement or government agencies, in response to legal requests, or if we are legally obliged to do so. We will also disclose the information if we believe that disclosure is reasonably necessary for our protection or the protection of others, including to prevent or address fraud or security issues.

6. How long do we keep the information?
Generally, we keep the information as long as you use Artpic, especially as long as you have an account with us. When you delete your account, we delete the account itself and all the content from that account and we will not be able to restore your account or retrieve your information in the future.
In some cases, there might be reasons to keep some information even after your account deleted: that depends on things such as the nature of the information, why it is collected and processed, and relevant legal or operational retention needs.
Whatever the case of retention of the information, we keep it only so long as we need it to provide Artpic to you and fulfill the purposes described in this Policy. This is also the case for anyone that we share your information with and who carries out services on our behalf. When we no longer need to use your information and there is no need for us to keep it to comply with our legal or regulatory obligations, we will either remove it from our systems or depersonalize it so that we can't identify you.
